Ohio Overtime Rules & Regulations
Ohio Rev. Code § 4111.03 requires overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. Under R.C. § 4111.03(D)(3)(a), employers whose annual gross volume of sales or business done is less than $150,000 are exempt from state overtime requirements (though federal FLSA coverage applies to enterprises grossing $500,000+ or workers in interstate commerce).
