Georgia Overtime Rules & Regulations
Georgia does not mandate daily or weekly overtime under state law. Overtime is governed by the federal FLSA (1.5x after 40 hours/week). For minimum wages, the federal $7.25/hr rate applies to virtually all employers, while the state statutory baseline remains $5.15/hr (O.C.G.A. § 34-4-3).
